Do you charge for pickups?-----In most cases, no. Large items or out of town pickups however may incur a charge.
What do you do with the recycled electronics?-----Most items are disassembled for core components which are then refined or recycled within the U.S.. Other items are refurbished/repaired and are sold in our store.
How can I get scheduled for a pickup?-----Contact us by phone, ask for the route coordinator. We will gather some basic info, and schedule your pickup.
How much material is required to refine?-----This depends on what type of material you have. Please see the “refining” paragraph in the “Refining” tab for more info.
How long is the refining process, and when is payment received?-----In short, refining can take up to 6-8 weeks. Please see the “refining” tab in the “Refining” tab for more info.
When is payment sent on “per pound” loads?-----Typically, payment is sent in the mail within 5-7 business days of receiving your material.
Does R2E provide shipping labels?-----R2E does not provide shipping labels. The seller is responsible to pay shipping costs in most cases.
How can I feel safe sending my materials to R2E?-----Through total transparency, follow through, and clear communication, we aim to make repeat business our number one goal. All communication, including price quotes are exchanged through email correspondence so that both parties have referenceable emails to be held accountable to. This is why we highly suggest contacting us before sending your material.
What do you carry in your store?-----Primarily, we focus on desktop computer, and laptop sales. We also carry many Apple products. In addition, we carry LCD monitors, computer peripherals, etc..
Do you repair computers/laptops?-----Yes, we offer remove and replace (R&R) services.
Do you remove viruses/malware?-----Yes, both in-house, and many times we can also offer these services through remote log-in.
Do you sell computer/laptop parts?-----Yes, many parts are regularly in stock, but we can also place special orders if needed/requested.
How long will you have my computer/laptop for repair?-----For most services, we can complete the work on the same day as drop off. If item(s) are received after mid-day, completion is typically reached on next business day. Turnaround time for ordered parts can vary, please speak with an associate for more info.
